Artist’s Statement:

I like to take a fearless approach to the process and each painting goes through stages of being painted, destroyed and created.

The balance and juxtaposition of striking colors and fluid movement is present in the series.

I began painting during a period of transition - art continues to be a release and inspiration, to lose myself and find myself again.

I generally work on several pieces of varying sizes at once going back and forth between them, to gain momentary bursts of separation and refreshed perspective.
